Through her career, took many leadership roles, learning by doing

Co-Chairs Colliers Women's Network; is co-founding member of CHIEF

Colliers’ Executive Management Director and South Florida Market Leader Julie Northcutt-Dunn stands out for the ambitious journey she traveled from her beginnings to where she is today. When opportunities were few for this determined professional, she pushed harder to educate herself and become a huge resource to her teams.

In the years she spent rising through the CRE field, she took leadership roles in many service lines, including brokerage, corporate client solutions, occupier services and sales management. Northcutt-Dunn learned how to build an A-Team by working through difficult conversations with candidates.

Having done the work, herself, she’s been able to bring out the best in team members with that role. Additionally, Northcutt-Dunn’s personal fortitude, a powerful can-do attitude, has carried her through every challenge of her 20-year career.

Northcutt-Dunn saw opportunity through the pandemic lock-down to prepare for subsequent large-scale challenges, like supply chain issues and the Great Resignation. She made her mission to have everything running smoothly, from an operational standpoint.

And educating others is truly one of her passions. At Colliers, she’s a national Co-Chair of the Women’s Network, an employee resource group. She’s also a Co-Founding member of CHIEF, the only private membership network focused on connecting and supporting women executive leaders.

With all Northcutt-Dunn has endured, her entire journey has been a spectacular success. These days, she brings sophistication and insight to her work with teams across the Colliers network.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose Julie Northcutt-Dunn as one of Connect CRE’s National 2022 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
