Arturo Borges is managing partner at Avanti Way Capital, a technology powered, Miami-based real estate asset management firm with roughly $1 billion in assets under management. Borges’ leadership skills, understanding of market dynamics and ability to identify superior investment opportunities as well as building world-class teams allowed him to successfully raise and place more than $100 million of equity, while closing more than $350 million worth of real estate acquisitions. Additionally, he is a Co-General Partner in a 678-unit real estate portfolio in Florida and Texas that is valued at more than $90M.

From March 2020 through October 2021, Arturo co-hosted the first real estate show in Spanish named “Se Habla Real Estate.” The show focused on educating the Hispanic community on how to invest in U.S. real estate. He currently hosts “Real Estate Done Right,” a podcast focused on discovering the most relevant industry trends, innovative technologies, and actionable content that enables investors to consistently outperform the market in the United States.

Borges is an advisory board member at Avanti Way Group, a vertically integrated group of companies of more than 1,300 real estate agents in 10 offices across Florida, with more than $4.5 billion in topline sales since inception. As part of its alliance with TECHO, the group has donated more than 25 homes to unprivileged communities in Latin America since 2015.

Borges is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), a member and a contributor to the Miami Commercial Association of Realtors, where he conducts regular classes and seminars to a community of more than 55,000 agents and real estate professionals. He is also a member of Chapman Partnership, a non-profit organization that benefits the homeless. He was appointed Council-Elect for NextGen for the organization, which consists of young professionals and community ambassadors who increase awareness, revenue and advocacy for Chapman Partnership.

These are just a few reasons we chose Borges as one of Florida/Gulf Coast’s 2022 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s sixth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
