Remi Mandell Produces $29B in Property Evaluations Since Joining Ariel Property Advisors
Remi Mandell, director of research and sales at Ariel Property Advisors, joined the company full-time in 2018. Since then, she has produced $29 billion in property evaluations covering more than 144 million square feet. Her work contributed to the sale or contract placement of affordable housing portfolios totaling 375 buildings, nearly 20,000 units and more than 20 million square feet, representing over $3.65 billion in transaction volume.
Mandell audits partnership agreements, restructures cash-distribution waterfalls and stress-tests financial models against changing economic and regulatory conditions, translating complex capital structures into clear decisions for investors, lenders and community partners. She serves on Ariel’s internal AI Committee, mentors junior research and sales professionals, and collaborates with the firm’s national affordable housing team.
Mandell helped Ariel execute a total of $1.17 billion of transactions across more than 100 assignments. Notable transactions include the $88 million sale of Ocean Park, a Queens affordable housing complex, and the $79.85-million sale of an eight-building, 387-unit Brooklyn portfolio.
She mentors emerging professionals through the United Jewish Appeal’s Real Estate Executives Next Committee and leads internship initiatives introducing students to commercial real estate.
Mandell has been named a Commercial Observer Power Young Professional
These are just a few reasons Remi Mandell is among the New York & Tri-State Connect CRE 2026 Women in Real Estate Award winners. The award honors the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and taken on mentorship roles.
