Angela Gentry’s JLL Team Closes $230M in Leasing

Company:

JLL

Angela Gentry, vice chairman of leasing advisory at JLL New York, leads business development strategy, aligning sales enablement, marketing, research and technology to strengthen client acquisition across the Tri-State region.

Since joining JLL in 2022, Gentry has built the New York Tri-State sales enablement function from the ground up, growing it to a 12-person team responsible for more than $230 million in office, industrial and retail leasing. The initiative helped drive 131% growth in new business opportunities, and its model has become a benchmark for JLL markets nationwide. Her team supported major deals, including JLL’s role in securing Deloitte’s commitment at 70 Hudson Yards.

Gentry also created JLL’s Voice of the Prospect committee, which gathers structured feedback from clients and prospects to help the company refine its strategy. She is one of three female vice chairmen of JLL New York.

A member of JLL’s Broker Leadership Council, Gentry mentors emerging professionals and advocates for women in commercial real estate. Outside her work, she has completed several marathons while raising money for PAWS Chicago, Make-A-Wish and NYC Team for Kids. She also supports the American Heart Association’s Wall Street Run & Heart Walk and Once Upon a Room.

These are just a few reasons Angela Gentry is among the New York & TriState Connect CRE 2026 Women in Real Estate Award winners. The award honors the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and taken on mentorship roles.
