Nick Gonzalves Builds Bridge’s Opportunity Zone Platform
As managing director of acquisitions and deputy chief investment officer, Nick Gonzalves helps lead investment strategy and portfolio execution for Bridge Investment Group’s Opportunity Zone platform throughout the Western U.S.
His responsibilities include acquisitions, capital structuring, joint-venture partnerships, asset management and portfolio management. He has spearheaded Bridge’s Opportunity Zone strategy from its inception.
Gonzalves has completed more than $7 billion in investment transactions across major commercial real estate sectors. His experience includes multifamily, office, industrial and retail, giving him a broad investment perspective that extends beyond the Opportunity Zone strategy.
Earlier in his career, he worked in acquisitions, asset management and dispositions for Bridge’s multifamily value-add and office funds. Gonzalves was also with Clarion Partners, where he focused on acquisitions across several Western markets.
His work has earned recognition within the industry, including inclusion in Business Insider’s 30 Under 35 Rising Stars of Real Estate list.
Gonzalves holds a bachelor’s degree in Facility & Property Management from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he concentrated in finance and management.
These are some of the reasons why Nick Gonzalves was selected to receive ApartmentBuildings.com’s AB 100 Investor/Owner of the Year Award, which recognizes those who demonstrate creativity, skill and success in the multifamily industry.
