Angela Harris
Founded TRIO in 1999
Established the company’s first cross-disciplinary AI committee
Angela Harris is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of TRIO, an award-winning design and visual merchandising firm. She leads the firm’s vision, strategy, and national client partnerships. Working directly with the nation’s most prominent architects, builders, and developers, she oversees over 300 active projects across all aspects of master-planned communities, commercial design, model homes, clubhouses, sales centers, hospitality and multifamily apartment communities.
Under her leadership, TRIO sharpened its focus on high-demand sectors, including multifamily housing, 55+ living, student housing, and hospitality. Harris established TRIO’s first cross-disciplinary Artificial Intelligence Committee.
Harris also spearheaded collaborations with the University of Colorado Denver’s Design/HEALth Advisory Council and the Institute for Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts to determine how design influences health, behavior and retention. Additionally, Harris has been a Sustainability Instructor at the Delaware College of Art and Design.
Harris has been recognized by Interior Design Magazine (Top 100 Giants), Inc. 5000 (Fastest-Growing Companies), Bisnow (Women Leading Real Estate), and the Denver Business Journal (Most Admired CEO).
She earned HGTV’s Designer of the Year award in the Outdoor Oasis category, was named to Interior Design Magazine’s Power List, and selected for ProBuilder’s Forty Under 40 list. Harris also received the Home Builder’s Association of Metro Denver Icon of the Year and the National Sales and Marketing Council Associate of the Year.
