Secured a $22.6-million refinance loan for a 96-unit Detroit townhome apartment community
As Managing Director at Greystone, Lisa Fischman works on construction and acquisition loans. She also handles the refinancing of existing/maturing loans for market-rate, workforce housing, and affordable multifamily assets, as well as senior healthcare. Her toolbox includes Bridge, FHA/HUD, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and CMBS lending platforms.
Throughout her career, Fischman has originated a total of $467 million in loans, consisting of $299 million for multifamily projects and $168 million for healthcare/seniors housing.
Transaction highlights include securing the only HUD-approved healthcare construction loan totaling $26 million, which was used to transform a historic homestead on Long Island into a 72-room assisted living and memory care facility. Fischman also handled a $22.6-million HUD-insured section 223(f) loan to refinance the 96-unit Aria of Shelby, a townhome apartment community in Detroit, MI.
Fischman is a regular guest speaker and panelist at industry events. She serves as a media source and appears on podcasts. She is also in charge of a CRE women’s industry group, “Ladies of… “ which allows women to meet and network at various conferences and events. Outside of work, she volunteers for various non-profit community organizations.
Fischman has been honored by the New York Real Estate Journal (Women in CRE), Real Estate Weekly (Leading Ladies), GlobeSt/Real Estate Forum (Women of Influence) and Connect CRE (Women in Real Estate).
