Helped strengthen the firm’s healthcare portfolio

As Senior Director of Business Development at Skanska USA Building, Courtney Grill leads pursuit and account strategy, supports regional business planning, and collaborates closely with office leadership, operations, marketing and communications on strategic positioning. Her work focuses on healthcare, corporate real estate, parks and waterfront and other market sectors.

She played a key role in several of Skanska’s initiatives, including overseeing the pursuit strategy, which led the firm to be selected for pre-construction services with the New York Climate Exchange project on Governors Island. Grill has also strengthened Skanska’s healthcare portfolio, working closely with the company’s operations teams to develop sector strategies and expand several major accounts across the region.

Beyond project pursuits, Grill co-founded CoreNet Global’s “Big Apple’s CoRe” podcast, which has become an industry platform for dialogue and innovation. She serves on the executive boards of CoreNet Global’s New York Chapter and the New Jersey Chapter of the Association of Medical Facility Professionals (AMFP).

These are just a few reasons Courtney Grill is among the New York & TriState Connect CRE 2025 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and taken on mentorship roles.
