As Director, Servicing Manager for Regions Real Estate Capital Markets, Marilyn Pennebaker manages the top national lender’s loan servicing activities. She leads a 24-person multilingual servicing team located in multiple states. Her Customer Care team acts as the borrower’s single point of contact throughout the life of the loan. The loans mainly consist of GSE Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multifamily loans that Regions Real Estate Capital Markets previously originated as an approved lender partner.
Pennebaker helped transition 239 multifamily loans, worth $5.9 billion, from outsourced servicing by an independent third-party provider to in-house servicing by the Regions Real Estate Capital Markets servicing team.
In addition to overseeing the complete Regions Real Estate Capital Markets servicing portfolio, Pennebaker is highly involved in mentoring members of her staff. She regularly provides guidance aimed at improving job performance, preparing team members for added responsibility and acceleration into more senior roles, and educating supervisors who report to her on successful management and oversight of junior employees.
Pennebaker donates to a handful of charities, including City of Hope, Children’s Cure for Cancer Cure, and Mayday Rescue.
