Jenny Johnson
Led the receivership of four properties and prepared four more for transition
Managed a receivership transition on a large building in Colorado
Jenny Johnson is the Director of Lender Services & Lease Administration at Hiffman National. As a court-appointed receiver, she acts as owner, asset manager, property manager and property accountant for distressed assets. She stabilizes underperforming properties, recovering lost value, coordinating with lenders, stakeholders and vendors, managing financials, and overseeing repairs or capital improvements.
Johnson joined Hiffman in 2016 and was promoted to her current role in 2024 when the company launched its Advisory Services division.
In the past year, Johnson led the receivership of four properties while preparing four more for transition. She recovered significant funds from former single-tenant occupants who neglected maintenance obligations, redirecting those funds into property repairs. She also managed a receivership transition on a large building in Colorado with significant deferred maintenance.
Before coming on board with Hiffman, Johnson held roles with Sam Zell’s original Equity Office Properties, Lincoln Property Company, JLL, Hines and CBRE. During her career, she managed multiple high-rise Class A and B office towers, ranging from 500,000 square feet to over one million square feet in downtown Chicago.
She recently participated in Hiffman’s annual Charity Shark Tank, an employee-driven program where Hiffman staff members pitch charitable organizations for financial support through the firm’s yearly fundraisers. In 2025, she pitched and secured additional funding for The Bridge Teen Center, where she and her family frequently volunteer. Johnson and her family are strong advocates for organ donation awareness.
Johnson received Hiffman’s “Trusted” Award, the firm’s highest internal honor.
