As Vice President & Director of Wisconsin Operations, Alison Gorham leads McShane’s Wisconsin Regional Office and manages the design-build and general construction process for the firm’s projects in Wisconsin. Known for her leadership and strategic insight, she excels in team and staff management, cultivating lasting client relationships, assessing long-term growth opportunities, conducting pre-construction evaluations, and driving construction efficiency.
Since 2018, Gorham has led McShane’s strategic and operational efforts in the Wisconsin market, delivering exceptional results that reflect her leadership and industry expertise. She built a thriving project pipeline based entirely on repeat business and referrals, a distinction that speaks to the trust and long-term relationships she’s cultivated with clients and design partners.
Under her direction, McShane secured and executed 10 developments in the multifamily, senior living, and supportive housing sectors, totaling 1,200 units, 1.4 million square feet, and $255 million in sales. Gorham also expanded the Wisconsin office’s workforce by 2,000%, implemented best practices for operations, and fostered a collaborative, high-performing team culture. Her ability to drive growth while maintaining quality and integrity makes her a standout leader in the industry.
Gorham is passionate about increasing the representation of women in the industry. She co-founded McShane’s first women’s leadership group to provide women at all stages of their careers with access to learning opportunities, professional development, resources, and the opportunity to cultivate relationships with other women within the industry. She also serves as a mentor for women at the company as they navigate the challenges of working in a male-dominated industry.
