Kathy Farrell is Head of Commercial Real Estate and Structured Credit at Truist Financial Corporation. She leads Truist’s banking and capital markets solutions for real estate developers, investors and owners. Farrell also oversees the Premium Finance and Structured Credit businesses, which include asset-based lending, equipment finance, and working capital solutions.

In 2024, her Real Estate and Corporate Investment Banking team expanded market share and delivered record investment banking revenue. Additionally, a cross-wholesale partnership enabled her team to serve as joint book runner on the largest global IPO (Lineage Logistics). 

Farrell also oversaw more than $2.5 billion in capital commitments through Truist Community Capital, which supports job creation and economic development.

She founded Truist’s first women’s affinity and resource group and is a founding member of the Truist Foundation, currently serving as the Board Chair. Farrell is an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA).

In the community, Farrell serves as a board member of the Atlanta Beltline Partnership, the West Side Future Fund, and the Catholic Foundation of North Georgia.
