Cushman & Wakefield’s Chicago-based office capital markets team of Tom Sitz, Dan Deuter and Cody Hundertmark advises institutional and private clients in the disposition, acquisition, recapitalization and financing of investment properties. The team leads both the Chicago and broader Midwest region in office investment sale transactions.

The team was at the forefront in 2024 as office owners and/or lenders in Chicago began to sell assets after a quiet 2023 and office buyers moved off the sidelines and began a wave of acquisitions that reset the market. With more than $500 million in office investment sales closed for the year, notable transactions included the following:

– 333 W. Wacker, an iconic, 887,947-square-foot, Class A office tower prominently located at the “Y” in the Chicago River that was the city’s largest office sale transaction of 2024 at $125 million.

– One O’Hare Centre, a top-of-market, 380,360-square-foot, Class A office building in Rosemont that represented one of the Chicago suburbs’ highest per-square-foot prices.
