Steven Gobac-Semple
Handled projects ranging from $1 million to $50 million within the past year
Mentors Drexel University students through the school’s construction management program
As a Skanska USA Senior Estimator, Steven Gobac-Semple leads pre-construction and estimating efforts, specializing in high-profile clients in the biomedical, lab sciences and higher education sectors. During the past year, Gobac-Semple has worked on roughly 25 to 30 projects ranging from smaller $1-million builds to major $50-million-plus undertakings.
Gobac-Semple has led Skanska USA’s Diversity and inclusion efforts and launched a Philadelphia-based LGBTQ+ networking group for individuals in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) field. He is also Co-Chair of the Skanska Charity Challenge Golf Outing.
Additionally, Gobac-Semple remains connected to his alma mater, Drexel University, where he is involved with the school’s construction management program and offers mentorship and guidance to students interested in pursuing industry careers.
He has organized donation drives and fundraising efforts to benefit multiple community groups and holds leadership positions in the General Building Contractors Association (GBCA) and the Association of General Contractors (AGC).
Skanska USA honored him with its Outstanding Leader Award. He also received the GBCA Construction Excellence Award for Commitment to Community Excellence.
