Represented a client in securing a 44,000-square-foot, $12-million lease
As associate vice president for Colliers in Pittsburgh, PA, Cody Sharik identifies the best locations and properties to support clients’ operational and financial needs. His day-to-day responsibilities include negotiating lease terms using market-specific expertise.
Sharik and his team worked with Duquesne Light Company in a new headquarters search, eventually negotiating a 124,000-square-foot, 15-year lease at Nova Place (Pittsburgh, PA). The deal was valued at more than $60 million. He also represented Carmeuse in negotiating a 44,000-square-foot, $12-million lease for its U.S. headquarters.
Sharik has been co-chair of the ULI Young Leaders Group since 2023 and, in 2024, became an associate member of the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of SIOR. He volunteers for the Special Olympics and participates in walks to advance Alzheimer’s treatment and raise awareness for suicide prevention. He’s also involved with fundraising for the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, Downtown Pittsburgh Partnership and the American Heart Society.
CoStar recognized Sharik as a Power Broker, and Colliers honored him with the Rising Star award for its North Central Region.
These are just a few reasons we chose Cody Sharik as one of Connect CRE’s Washington D.C. & Mid-Atlantic 2025 Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
