Matt Himmelsbach is a managing director in Newmark’s Technology & Innovation Practice Group (TIPG). His primary responsibilities include leading the negotiation of national lease transactions nationally, advising both tenants and landlords, and leveraging his extensive experience to support global connectivity and innovation within corporate real estate strategies.

During his Newmark career, Himmelsbach has been involved in over 1 million square feet of lease transactions. His notable accomplishments include tenant brokering a new 26,800-square-foot lease at 500 E. Broward and completing over 100,000 square feet of lease transactions in 2024.    

Himmelsbach contributes to the Technology & Innovation Practice Group’s growth by helping shape best practices and new service offerings that align with modern workplace trend demands. He enjoys mentoring newer and younger brokers, sharing valuable insights, strategies, and lessons drawn from his experiences in commercial real estate.

Himmelsbach has dedicated time and financial resources to supporting organizations such as the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF), the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), and the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS).
