Co-represented buyer in a $20 million acquisition of manufactured housing communities
Moore & Van Allen PLLC (MVA) attorney William Stroud advises clients on their real estate matters and related business needs, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leases, development, zoning, permitting, ownership, and corporate governance. He also represents lenders in real property secured financings throughout South Carolina.
Notable deals included representing a Wyoming-based purchaser who acquired Charleston’s Planters Inn for $75 million. Stroud also co-represented the buyer in a $20-million acquisition of manufactured housing communities in South Carolina and represented a buyer in a $7-million land acquisition (and subsequent mixed-use development).
Honors include Best Lawyers’ One to Watch in Eminent Domain and Condemnation Law and Corporate Law. Stroud has also been named a South Carolina Super Lawyers’ Rising Star and a Legal Elite in Commercial Real Estate by Charleston Business Magazine.
Stroud is on the Rotary Club of Charleston Breakfast’s Board of Directors and is the organization’s Coins for Alzheimer’s Research Trust (CART) Liaison.
