Austin Sneed
With team, closed over $2.5 billion in CRE debt transactions since 2022
Served as an inaugural member of Charleston’s Entryway City Advisory Board
As a key member of Walker & Dunlop’s capital markets team, Austin Sneed is responsible for structuring and closing debt financing solutions for a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, refinances, repositionings, and new construction. He works across all major asset classes—multifamily, industrial, retail, office, and hospitality.
Since joining Walker & Dunlop in 2022, Sneed and his team have closed over $2.5 billion in commercial real estate debt transactions ($1 billion over the past year). A standout portion includes over $800 million in the Active Adult multifamily sector.
Other highlights include leading financing for a $200-million acquisition of six Active Adult communities in the Sunbelt region.
His community endeavors included membership of the Town of Mount Pleasant Comprehensive Plan Forum and the Town of Mount Pleasant Citizens Water Academy. Sneed is an inaugural member of Charleston’s Entryway City Advisory Board. He is an active member of ULI.
