Leads real estate purchases, sales and other activities

Daniel Hardwick is Co-Chair of Cozen O’Connor’s Real Estate Practice. He leads real estate transactions, including purchases and sales, joint ventures, leases, and financings, on behalf of developers, owners, investors, and tenants. His activities encompass a diverse range of asset classes and property types.

Hardwick joined the firm in 2013 as its first DC-based real estate attorney. Since then, he has built what is now a dynamic and diversified Chambers & Partners-ranked real estate team offering comprehensive transactional capabilities.

Alongside his real estate practice, Hardwick serves as pro bono real estate counsel to local institutions such as the Washington School for Girls (WSG). He is currently assisting WSG’s efforts to develop and lease a new three-story building that will consolidate the school under one roof, allowing for expanded enrollment and programming.

These are some of the reasons why Daniel Hardwick received Connect CRE’s 2025 Washington DC & Mid-Atlantic Lawyers in Real Estate Award. The award celebrates real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice and the larger community.
