Amy Rifkind, Co-Chair of Arnold & Porter’s Real Estate practice, has more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate, with a focus on complex development projects. She works on acquisitions, ground leases, dispositions and financings, and negotiates with federal, state and local agencies. Rifkind also advises local and national clients on real estate transactions involving a range of property types.
She recently represented a co-location facility owner in its acquisition of a carrier hotel and meet-me room (MMR) facility in the Mountain West. Rifkind also advised a national REIT on the sale of its 100-property nationwide retail portfolio.
Rifkind handles transactions for pro bono clients, including several District of Columbia charter schools and nonprofit organizations. She is a fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, a member of the board of the DC Policy Center and a member of the Federal City Council.
She has been recognized by Chambers USA and named to the Washingtonian’s list of “Top Lawyers for Real Estate.”
