Famili is the real estate counsel to a national specialty grocer in its acquisition, development and leasing across the country. She recently led the team that represented the client in two major regional warehouse developments in Long Island, NY, and Brighton, CO. Her team also represented the client in its acquisition of vacant land for development as a regional warehouse and distribution facility, which has an estimated post-development value of $368.6 million.
She serves on USC Real Estate and Business Law Forum’s Program and Planning Committees and as a member of Law360’s Real Estate Editorial Advisory Board. She volunteers at a domestic violence clinic through the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles at the Santa Monica Courthouse.
Famili has received accolades from The Recorder (Real Estate Lawyer of the Year), Los Angeles Business Journal (Women of Influence), and Legal 500 (Leading Partner for Real Estate). Chambers USA, GlobeSt/Real Estate Forum, the Los Angeles Times and Legal 500 have also recognized her.
These are some of the reasons why Anita Famili received Connect CRE’s 2025 National Lawyers in Real Estate Award. The award celebrates real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice and the larger community.
