Heads the firm’s Real Estate & Affordable Housing practice

Led the team in seller representation of a $108-million sale

Nixon Peabody Partner Christopher Froeb leads the firm’s Real Estate & Affordable Housing practice. The practice focuses on representing local and national developers, investors, and owners in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including joint venture transactions, development and management agreements, acquisitions, sales and financings. He handles joint venture and general real estate transactions, working with local and national developers and institutional investors.

Froeb led the team advising AEW Capital in its $108-million sale of the Remi on the River apartment complex in Miami, FL. He also heads NP’s Seniors Housing & Care Team, which represents developers in building assisted living, memory care and independent living assets. The team also works with clients on acquisitions, dispositions and financing of seniors housing.

These are some of the reasons why Christopher Froeb received Connect CRE’s 2025 Boston & New England Lawyers in Real Estate Award. The award celebrates real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice and the larger community.
