Zoe Heyman

As Vice President of Basis’ Investor Relations team, Zoe Heyman’s responsibilities differ each day, lending to her adept ability to pivot at a moment’s notice. Her typical day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing all marketing functions for the firm, particularly relating to investor relations activity, communications with prospective investment partners and clients, co-managing and liaising with the firm’s strategic public relations agency, managing, creating and overseeing the implementation of operational and systems improvements, attending conferences and community events as a representative of Basis Investment Group and managing the firm’s marketing efforts.

Heyman was instrumental in developing and implementing the firm’s ESG Questionnaire Risk Framework and Assessment Template, a key tool now embedded in the due diligence process to ensure the thorough evaluation of environmental, social and governance factors. She also led the development of a proprietary Salesforce pipeline tool that has streamlined operations across the firm.

Heyman is deeply committed to community engagement through her involvement with Basis’s Community Lending Partners Program and the Diverse Sponsor Outreach Program. She leads all community events and networking initiatives. She is a leader on the Sustainability & Impact Committee, where, in addition to helping to implement firmwide initiatives, she organizes environmental justice fundraisers and community clean-up activities. Heyman consistently looks out for those often overlooked, making it a central mission in her career to use her position to uplift those around her.
