Blima Ehrentreu

Blima Ehrentreu is the Founder and CEO of The Designers Group, where she spearheads the development of strategies that position the firm as a top design company and oversees design projects and processes. She manages a team of over 40 employees and focuses on streamlining operations, delegating responsibilities, and promoting the firm to potential clients and partners.

Under her guidance, the 15-year-old TDG has completed over 500 projects across residential, healthcare, hospitality, and commercial sectors, generating up to $5 million in revenue annually. Ehrentreu expanded TDG from its beginnings in Toronto to international markets, establishing offices in New York and Miami. Ehrentreu also launched TDG Build, the brand’s construction management arm.

Ehrentreu actively promotes diversity and inclusion within the industry by championing initiatives that support women and minority communities. Through her role as a mentor at Jewish Women Entrepreneurs (JWE) and advocacy as a Women in Construction Ambassador at New York Build, she provides guidance and support to aspiring women in the field.

TDG has received multiple awards, including a ranking of No. 15 on Inc. Magazine’s list of the fastest-growing private companies in the NYC Metro Area. Crain’s recognized the company as a Women-Forward Workplace, while GlobeSt named TDG one of CRE’s Best Places to Work. Other accolades include the Business Excellence Award for Most Well-being Focused Interior Design Company (Acquisition International Magazine), Most Innovative Multi-Sector Interior Design Firm (LUX Life Magazine) and Woman-Owned Design Firm of the Year (REDCONNECT).
