Jason S. Nichols is the real estate and finance practice team chairperson at Parsons Behle & Latimer. His practice concentrates on real estate transactions, commercial lending and complex contracts. He clients in real estate transactions in Utah and throughout the Intermountain West. He also works with financial institutions, other lenders and borrowers in large and small lending transactions, negotiations and workouts.

Additionally, Nichols represents domestic and international mining clients on commercial contracting matters, including purchasing and selling goods, materials and finished products, service agreements, and engineering, procurement, construction and construction management agreements.

Nichols is a member of the American Bar Association, the Utah State Bar Association’s Real Property, Banking and Finance, and chairperson elect of the J. Rueben Clark Law Society’s International Conference and Events Committee.

Nichols has served on his local city planning commission and, before joining the firm, worked eight years in commercial real estate development.

Honors include Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Rating, Mountain States Super Lawyers (Rising Star) and Utah Legal Elite (Real Estate and Natural Resources).
