Christopher Lane is a partner and co-leader of the Real Estate Practice Group of Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP. He has extensive experience representing clients in all areas of real estate transactions throughout the U.S., including development, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and land use matters. He represents borrowers and lenders in real estate financing, including alternative financing structures, such as sale-leaseback transactions.

Additionally, Lane advises clients in developing and financing renewable energy projects.

Notable activities include representing an apartment developer in acquiring and entitlement various projects throughout the Denver metro area valued at up to $100 million. He also negotiated the sale of a $22 million apartment portfolio and a $50 million loan for another apartment developer.

Lane is a contributing author to the Colorado Real Estate Practice and an instructor for the related 13-week CLE course. He is also the firm’s pro bono coordinator. Lane negotiated the sale of a $22 million apartment portfolio and, in another transaction, a $50 million loan on behalf of an apartment developer.

He is a member of the ULI and CU Real Estate Foundation, a former director of the Boulder County Bar Association and a former board member of the Colorado Lawyers Committee, Young Lawyers Division. He is also on the Butterfly Pavilion board.

This is why Christopher Lane received Connect CRE’s 2024 Phoenix & Southwest Lawyers in Real Estate Award. The award celebrates real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice and the larger community.
