Laura Weingartner is a member of Dykema Gossett. In this role, she handles real estate lending, finance, workouts, tax incentives and economic development in the renewable energy, energy and natural resources sectors. She also works in infrastructure, project finance, and commercial leasing.
Weingartner has represented lenders in hundreds of loan transactions with solar, wind, and other renewable energy developers on projects ranging in size from modest to large utility-scale facilities.
She is the Michigan Leader of Dykema Women’s Business Initiative. She serves on the State Bar of Michigan’s Real Property and Business Law Sections and the American Bar Association’s Forum on Community Development and Affordable Housing. Weingartner is chair of the Barton Hills Village Planning Commission.
Weingartner has received many accolades, such as inclusion in Lawdragon’s List of 500 Leading Global Real Estate Lawyers and Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s 2021 Women in the Law Listing. She was also recognized by Michigan Super Lawyersas a Rising Star for Real Estate.
