Gregory Braun focuses on residential and commercial real estate and real estate-related transactions. His primary emphasis is on residential closings, short sales, REOs and new real estate developments. Braun also spends much time on lease negotiating and drafting, representing both landlords and tenants. Additionally, he handles other commercial real estate transactions, including sales and acquisitions, property development and financing matters.

Braun’s practice concentrates on investors’ needs, including 1031 exchanges, self-directed IRAs, construction, insurance, financing (including FHA and traditional sources), corporate formations and commercial leasing.

He is a lecturer with the Chicago Bar Association and served as a Wilmette (IL) housing commissioner for seven years.

This is why Gregory Braun received Connect CRE’s 2024 Chicago & Midwest Lawyers in Real Estate Award. The award celebrates real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice and the larger community.
