Janeen Hogue
Founder of Miller-Hogue Law Firm
Facilitated $200 million in real estate acquisitions, financing, leasing and sales
Janeen Hogue is the founder of Miller-Hogue Law Firm, P.C., which became one of the youngest woman-owned and longest-running solo real estate law firms in Charlotte. For over twenty years, Hogue has multiplied profits each year.
Hogue effectively generated and orchestrated several hundred transactions in 2024 and continued an annual increase of 15%—20% per transaction with her team. As a solo attorney, she has independently facilitated the acquisition, financing, leasing or sale of real property valued at over $200 million.
Hogue has been an active member of the YMCA, competing in and supporting several athletic community events. She contributed time to the joint venture of Self-Help Community Development Corporation and Crossroads Corporation for Affordable Housing and Community Development, Inc. in their Grier Heights Revitalization Project.
She represented the Wesley Chapel Athletic Association and the Weddington Optimist Club pro bono in acquiring property. She is a board member of the Charlotte Women’s Bar, a former ASPIRE board member, and has served on CREW Charlotte’s board of directors and executive team. She has also been a member of the Charlotte Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners.
CREW Charlotte recognized Hogue as Networker of the Year and nominated her for the CREW Network Impact Award. The Mecklenburg Times named her one of Charlotte’s 50 most influential women, and she was named a “Leader in Law” by North Carolina Lawyer’s Weekly and “Legal Elite” for Real Estate by Business North Carolina.
These are some of the reasons why Janeen Hogue received Connect CRE’s 2024 Atlanta & Southeast Lawyers in Real Estate Award. The award celebrates real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice and the larger community.
