Throughout his career, Goldman has closed numerous acquisitions, permanent, interim/bridge, construction, and mezzanine loans. He led teams that closed over $1 billion in mortgage loans secured by various properties around the country, many for securitization in the capital markets, and has worked on syndicated and participated in loan transactions.
Major transactions include representing a private fund lender in two ground-up multifamily construction loans worth $150 million and $138 million. Goldman also represented a life insurance company in a deed-in-lieu transaction involving a $290-million loan secured by an office building.
Goldman serves as Seyfarth’s pro bono chair and has been named the company’s “Pro Bono Partner of the Year.” He has represented nonprofit organizations, including a children’s museum, a ballet company and a dance organization. He also worked with organizations supporting children in need and corporate philanthropy.
Goldman is ranked as Recommended Attorney for Real Estate Finance by The Legal 500. He is a frequent presenter for organizations, including the Mortgage Bankers Association, ICSC and Bisnow.
These are some of the reasons why Arren Goldman received Connect CRE’s 2024 Atlanta & Southeast Lawyers in Real Estate Award. The award celebrates real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice and the larger community.
