Whitney Rhoades
Was the first woman to join Marcus & Millichap's Portland office
The Rhoades Group leads the company's largest multifamily team in the state
Whitney Rhoades is a multifamily advisor focused on helping investors buy and sell commercial real estate in Oregon and southern Washington. As the founder of The Rhoades Group and the most senior apartment broker in the Oregon office, Rhoades, as First Vice President, leads Marcus & Millichap’s largest multifamily team in the state.
Since joining Marcus & Millichap as the first female agent in the Portland office in 2012, Rhoades paved the way for other women to enter the traditionally male-dominated industry.
Rhoades has been named “The Best of The Best” by the Portland Business Journal and has consistently ranked as one of the top brokers in the Marcus & Millichap Portland office, including the past two consecutive years. She earned Marcus & Millichap’s National Achievement Award (NAA) three times, including her first award after only four years in the industry.
Her peers awarded her the Citizenship Award for her collaborative spirit and exceptional leadership skills. Additionally, Rhoades mentors new agents each year, empowering them to thrive in the highly competitive real estate industry. Her dedication to giving back is evident through her team’s participation in charitable initiatives, like partnering with Habitat for Humanity.
These are a few reasons we chose Whitney Rhoades as one of the Seattle & Northwest Connect CRE’s 2023 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and play key mentorship roles for others.
