Responsible for $217 million in loan production in 2022
Consistently one of Greystone's top loan originators
Lorie Hanson, Managing Director at Greystone, has been with the firm since May 2017. Over the past few years, she has been consistently among the top loan originators at Greystone, with diverse financing experience. She works on every product on Greystone’s deep platform, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, CMBS and bridge financing.
In 2022, Hanson was responsible for over $217 million in loan production, consistently increasing her volume by $50 million yearly. Highlights include a $52 million FHA HUD loan for a Salt Lake City 240-unit multifamily property, a $52 million CMBS loan for an office building in Memphis, TN and $23.8 million in Fannie Mae DUS financing for the 160-unit Breckenridge Apartments near Boise, ID.
Hanson’s career and passion for commercial real estate pre-dates her arrival at Greystone. Previously, she was a CRE loan officer and relationship manager for Washington Trust Bank. She was also the top producer and only female CRE loan officer at Old Standard Life Insurance Company.
As a leader, Hanson is direct in her approach, confident in her abilities and willing to surround herself with people who outperform in areas she doesn’t. When she isn’t working for her clients, she enjoys time with her family. She also works in animal shelters and is active with her church and volunteering.
These are a few reasons we chose Lorie Hanson as one of the Seattle & Northwest Connect CRE’s 2023 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and play key mentorship roles for others.
