Anna Pavlova
Introduced decarbonization technology into the real estate space
Oversees utilization of CO2 CarbonQuest captures as a sustainable alternative
As vice president of strategy and market development at CarbonQuest, Anna Pavlova has emerged as an expert influencing the commercial real estate industry at a pivotal time for its growing sustainability sector. Since joining the CarbonQuest team, Pavlova introduced a new decarbonization technology into the real estate space. Her work aims to significantly reduce building carbon emissions across property types and geographies while driving direct benefits for asset owners, operators and tenants.
She also leads the company’s overall strategic and market positioning, enabling jobs and technology innovation throughout the real estate industry while fostering innovation and advancement across building carbon capture and CO2 utilization. In this regard, CarbonQuest’s reach expanded beyond its focus on buildings with boilers to accommodate clients that use combined heat and power (CHP) systems. This supported decarbonizing larger commercial towers, hospitals, universities and campus-oriented real estate.
Pavlova oversees the utilization of CO2 that CarbonQuest captures from buildings as a Sustainable CO2 alternative. Looking forward, she has a vision for engaging more with new technology and industrial design — such as augmented reality — to improve customer experience and the path toward decarbonization for the industry.
These are a few reasons we chose Anna Pavlova as one of the Seattle & Northwest Connect CRE’s 2023 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and play key mentorship roles for others.
