Team grew its portfolio by 225% in a three-year period
Emily Hubbard is a founding partner and head of Client Relations and Marketing for Sage Investment Group. In this role, she is responsible for engaging with current and potential future investors to support Sage’s capital needs for upcoming acquisitions and projects. She also works closely with the acquisitions and finance teams to forecast all capital needs well before closings.
In just three years, Hubbard and her team grew their portfolio by 225%, from $40 million in 2020 to $130 million, with $100 million in assets in the pipeline. Sage’s long-term goal is to reach $1 billion in assets in the next ten years. By rehabilitating properties in under-resourced communities, Hubbard’s team is helping stabilize neighborhoods with the greatest need for long-term housing. The team finds unique investment opportunities in multifamily housing that most investors wouldn’t touch.
Hubbard forged partnerships with Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH) to provide veterans with safe, attainable housing in areas with onsite support resources, such as one-on-one job training. She works closely with her full-time Community Relations Manager, who works tirelessly to ensure Sage is making a positive impact. This includes developing relationships with representatives from local law enforcement, government officials, community groups and non-profits to ensure Sage’s community impact is felt long-term and across various stakeholder groups.
Hubbard has an extensive background in real estate, sales, and fundraising and has been a passionate real estate investor since 2010. She has brokered over $40 million in residential real estate and has pitched over $100 million in residential real estate to Fortune 500 companies.
