Charles Krawitz is Senior Vice President, Chief Capital Markets Officer and Head of Commercial Lending for Alliant Credit Union. In his role, he oversees the company’s commercial lending activities, the credit union’s loan trading desk, fintech partnerships and employer partnerships.

In 2022, Krawitz’s team provided funding for a $34.7-million multifamily development in Seattle. The team also pursued bridge financing structures as interest rates increased. One example of this involved a $40 million bridge-to-HUD loan for a developer of two multifamily and retail mixed-use assets in Portland, OR.

His 30 years of experience includes leading complex commercial real estate finance transactions at institutions including ABN AMRO, KeyBank and Fifth Third Bank. He has a Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, a Master of Science in regional and urban planning from the London School of Economics and an Executive Scholar designation from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Krawitz is the recipient of multiple industry awards, including induction into the Midwest Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame.

These are some of the reasons we selected Charles Krawitz for inclusion in the 2023 Connect CRE Top Mortgage Brokers and Lenders Awards. These awards recognize industry professionals who have demonstrated the highest standards in commercial real estate finance.
