Chad Hagwood

Chad Hagwood is senior managing director and Southeast regional manager at Lument. An industry veteran with an impressive track record, Hagwood has closed more than $10 billion in career originations and has long been an active member of the national mortgage banking industry.

Throughout 2022, he relied on his deep-sector expertise and ability to craft customized funding solutions to close deals and help position clients for long-term success. He believes that those who know how to maneuver through cyclical highs and lows will help unlock more value with every deal.

In one 2022 deal, Hagwood helped a Houston, TX-based sponsor close a portfolio of four transactions totaling $57.8 million using Freddie Mac conventional multifamily loans. The loans featured low, fixed interest rates, 35-year amortizations, and seven-year terms.
