In his role as Executive Vice Chairman at Cushman & Wakefield’s San Diego office, Brian Starck handled 71 leasing transactions in 2022, totaling three million square feet at a transactional value of $1.5 billion. Starck specialize in the leasing of Class A office space and R&D/life science facilities in University Town Center, Torrey Pines, Del Mar Heights Sorrento Mesa and downtown.

His significant transactions included representation of Alexandria Real Estate Trust on its 426,927-square-foot build-to-suite lease at Campus Pointe (University Town Center); its 351,415-square-foot lease extension at Sequence Drive (Sorrento Mesa) and its 205,666-square-foot build-to-suit lease at One Alexandria Square (Torrey Pines).

Starck also represented landlord Kilroy in its 182,000-square-foot office and lab lease in Del Mar Corporate Centre (Del Mar Heights) to Tandem Diabetes.

Through his career, Starck has generated approximately $7.5 billion in transactional volume with clients including Alexandria Real Estate Trust, JP Morgan, PGIM, Kilroy Realty, BLT Enterprises, Lincoln, Stockdale, PIMCO and LBA.
