The Northmarq Carolinas Investment Sales team consists of Allan Lynch, Andrea Howard, Caylor Mark, Jeff Glenn and John Currin. During 2022, the Charlotte, NC-based team closed 30 deals in 2022 across North and South Carolina, totaling more than $2.1 billion.
Notable transactions included the 352-unit Element Uptown and 300-unit Ascent Uptown, both in Charlotte, NC and One City Center, a 109-unit apartment community in Durham, NC. The team also handled the transaction for the mixed-use NOVEL LoSo Station, a new transit-oriented development situated in Charlotte.
Amid an interest rate environment north of 5%, the Northmarq Carolinas Team connected owners with patient, strategic capital. This allowed investors and owners to acquire assets all cash or at low leverage, while providing the market with demonstrated data points of liquidity. The team continued closing transactions across both states, while delivering a 3.8% weighted average cap rate on sales during 2022.
