Member of the JLL Industrial Property Management Leadership Team
Manages more than 24 million square feet of industrial space in Florida
As Executive Vice President of JLL, Anne Kupperman is responsible for senior oversight of the JLL portfolio of industrial and flex properties throughout Florida. Kupperman’s duties include overall bottom-line accountability for the Industrial Property Management department in Florida, as well as leadership of the local Industrial Property Management teams.
Kupperman got her start in real estate at age 19, while attending the University of Florida. She moved into commercial property management in 2005, lancing her first industrial client a year later. Today, she manages more than 24 million square feet of industrial space in Florida for JLL. This figure was nonexistent when Kupperman joined the company in 2011, as industrial property management was in its infancy and brand new to the Florida market. Kupperman also oversees more than 56 million square feet nationally for one of JLL’s top clients.
Kupperman and her team of 42 people have been busy, as the pandemic has had a positive impact on industrial property management. The team had always managed portfolios remotely, but this became more critical as more goods were bought online, meaning distribution warehouses were beyond capacity. This caused users and investors to go on buying sprees to keep up with demand, adding approximately 4 million square feet to the team’s industrial property management portfolio during the past two years.
Kupperman is a member of the JLL Industrial Property Management Leadership Team. She also has LEED Green Associate certification and holds a Florida Real Estate Sales Associate license.
When she isn’t working with her private and institutional clients, Kupperman and her husband attend her nine-year-old son’s hockey games and 11-year-old daughter’s competitive skating competitions.
