Advocates for others, serves as a mentor for young women
As Senior Vice President with Colliers, Anne Dempsey travels the world, negotiating deals on behalf of recognizable names.
In 2021, she completed 94 transactions valued at $100 million; 21 of the transactions were on behalf of new business client Farmers Business Network. Her work throughout the challenging year earned her membership to Colliers’ prestigious Everest Club which recognizes the firm’s top 10% of producers. In addition, she ranked as the second most prolific land sales broker at the company in 2021.
Dempsey works across all asset classes throughout the U.S. Her two most notable local deals in the Chicago market were on behalf of the U.S. Marshal Service. These included the 1.5-million-square-foot Motorola Campus sale in Harvard, IL, which took 35 days from assignment to close. Dempsey also represented the service in the sale of Rosemont’s 275-room Edwards Hotel, which took 60 days from listing to close.
Dempsey leads by example. An advocate for others, especially young professionals entering the business, she serves as a mentor to several young women at the firm. The “can do” leader teaches via participation. Her mentees don’t sit on the sidelines pushing paperwork or dialing for business. Rather, they are by her side, negotiating deals from start to finish. She has helped launch the careers of many, which is a source of great professional pride.
Dempsey also takes care of those in need in her community, serving as a longtime volunteer for Feed My Starving Children, and serving as a regular soup kitchen volunteer
