Involved with property management oversight of the firm's portfolio

Led a five-building lobby renovation to improve amenities on the properties

Jodie Zussman, Boston Development Group’s CEO, is involved in all aspects of this multi-faceted investment management and real estate development firm. Part of her duties include oversight of all property management operations for the firm’s portfolio, as well as spearheading an overhaul of the company’s management reporting systems. In addition, she led the firm in land/property assemblages, securing an upgrade in zoning to allow for highest and best use redevelopment to life science usage.

In another scenario, she led a five-building lobby renovation, improving amenities on the properties. The process helped the properties become more competitive in light of the work-from-home pandemic impact.

Zussman carefully weighs information, statistics and other data, coming to effective conclusions in a decisive manner. She is supportive of her team and listens attentively to input. She is a lead-by-example boss who isn’t too important to troubleshoot copy machine glitches or computer issues.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose Jodie Zussman as one of the Boston & New England 2022 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
