Recently promoted to General Manager of the 138-acre Atlantic Station

Serves as Hines' Regional DEI Ambassador and is active in the OneHines Ambassador mentorship program

Kristin Anunson was recently promoted by Hines to the position of General Manager of Atlantic Station, a 138-acre, mixed-use development in the heart of Atlanta. She joined the Hines Atlantic Station team as Operations Manager in 2019, where she was responsible for operational oversight of the property’s 580,000-square-foot retail district.

As she took the job just months before the pandemic, Anunson had to adjust quickly, making decisions to keep both the Atlantic Station community and Hines personnel safety. She developed an implemented a COVID return-to-office plan, ensuring in-place safety measures. Furthermore, she partnered closely with community leaders during periods of social unrest to provide a safe environment for those living, working and shopping at Atlantic Station, while also supporting the center’s retail businesses.

Anunson models leadership, commitment and exceptional project management overseeing all capital, landlord and tenant construction, as well as operational oversight for all service contracts and repairs and maintenance. Through her effective communication and creativity, she and her team generated a 3.2X Return on Investment (ROI) for client Morgan Stanley.

Anunson serves as Hines’ Regional DEI Ambassador, OneHines Women’s Network Employee Resource Group (ERG) lead and is a contributing member to the 3rd Party Business Generation cohort. She is active in the OneHines Ambassador mentorship program, sits on the Atlantic Station Civic Board and is a member of the ULI Program Committee. Amunson is also an alumnus of the Inspire Atlanta leadership program through the Atlanta Women’s Foundation (AWF).  As an active AWF member, Anunson raised $17,389 for the organization, which supports women and children in need.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose Kristin Anunson as one of the Atlanta & Southeast 2022 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
