Since joining Walker & Dunlop in 2015, Lynn Pearson has been directly involved in arranging more than $3 billion in debt, brokering more than 140 different deals with structures including permanent financing, construction, bridge and mezzanine financing.  As Director, Capital Markets, Pearson is responsible for financing income-producing properties including multifamily, office, industrial, retail and hospitality throughout the U.S. During the past two years, she directly originated more than $500 million in commercial real estate loans utilizing HUD, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac for multifamily, affordable, seniors housing and healthcare properties.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Pearson worked for C-III Capital Partners in Dallas, where she was responsible for resolving a portfolio of distressed CMBS debt and retail REO in the U.S. and U.S. Virgin Islands. She was also a portfolio analyst on the equity advisory side at Principal Real Estate Investors in Chicago, focusing primarily on student housing and grocery-anchored retail.

Pearson has a history of raising her hand to participate and assist. She is on the board of Walker & Dunlop’s Women’s Initiative. She also serves on the leadership committee of Women of Walker & Dunlop, an internal employee resource group that supports women employees. Because of her leadership, Walker & Dunlop started offering Milk Stork services and a collaboration with a service provider for last-minute childcare as workplace-wide benefits.

Pearson is also part of the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association and has performed speaking engagements with Women in Real Estate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

These are just a few reasons we chose Pearson as one of Phoenix/Southwest’s 2022 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s sixth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
