Amber Coleman is a Vice President with CBRE’s Capital Markets Debt & Structured Finance division. Based in Phoenix, she also serves as debt originator of (permanent, bridge, construction and mezzanine) financing for clients nationwide. Over the past five years, Coleman has assisted in the underwriting, analysis and closing of nearly $1 billion in loans spanning from retail, industrial, office and hospitality assets. Coleman focuses on connecting institutional investors, developers and commercial property owners with a variety of lending options including, banks, credit unions, life insurance companies and debt funds that best meet their investment goals. Prior to her promotion to Vice President in 2022, Coleman was a Senior DSF Analyst for CBRE’s National Pooled Support platform where she assisted some of the most experienced mortgage brokers in her company facilitating top-notch support to achieve exceptional service to their clients.
She believes that each professional has a different definition of a successful career. For her it means creating a more equitable space for women and minorities in the commercial real estate industry. Through her ambition, discipline and perseverance, she leverages these qualities to create a more inclusive world.
Coleman served on the board of AZCREW, from 2019 – 2020, which helped her serve as a local advocate for advancing women’s roles in commercial real estate, and developing the next generation of CRE professionals from Arizona’s youth. She is also involved with CBRE Women’s Network and is a member of NAIOP.
She received her Bachelor of Arts in business-law from Arizona State University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Arizona. She also is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the State of Arizona.
