Kevin Mattice
Helps develop products that provide data to CRE leaders and investors
Spearheaded release of Cherre's CoreExplore and launched Cherre Lightening Connections
Grew product team from three to 11 people in three years
As Cherre’s Chief Product Officer, Kevin Mattice helps develop products that connect traditionally siloed datasets in the commercial real estate industry, so industry leaders and investors can make informed decisions. Users are able to obtain asset performance and market benchmarks in one location, eliminating the need for guesswork and complicated spreadsheets.
Mattice has been an innovator with impressive business acumen, especially during the pandemic, spearheading Cherre’s CoreExplore. CoreExplore is a front-end application that allows real estate users to explore connected data, even without their own technical teams. Two of the largest global asset managers in the world use CoreExplore to identify and execute on off-market opportunities. Mattice also helped with the launch of Cherre Lightening Connections in late 2021. This product involve datasets from Cherre’s growing Connections Catalog that users can add to their Cherre data warehouse within hours.
Mattice is a leader and natural teacher. He built out a successful product team, growing the group from three to 11 people in the last three years. Rather than scaling back during the pandemic, Mattice saw a need and an opportunity to expand Cherre’s product capabilities. He spearheaded a new hiring and onboarding process, while establishing a corporate structure and mindset. His pure tech background supports a work ethic that prioritizes rigor and a well-defined process.
Mattice also strives to help his team strike a balance between structure and creativity. This teaches team members how to set goals and stay on track while also giving them the space to experiment, fail fast, and keep moving forward to achieve their shared vision.
These are just a few reasons we chose Mattice as one of Connect CRE’s National 2022 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s sixth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
