With more than a decade of commercial real estate experience, Gary Chance built one of the biggest commercial real estate news media brands in the world, disrupted and forever changed commercial real estate marketing, and is now focused on bringing artificial intelligence to the commercial real estate industry.

Prescriptive Data is a technology company that uses artificial intelligence to decrease carbon emissions and automate health and wellness in commercial buildings through Nantum OS. As Vice President of Marketing & Partnerships for Prescriptive Data, Chance leads the company’s marketing team, revenue operations team, and partnerships team, and has created a data-driven strategy utilizing account-based marketing (ABM), agile-performance marketing, and automation.

In May 2020, Chance drove a partnership with Intel to redesign the occupant office experience through the Nantum Tenant Engagement app. When an employee woke up in the morning, they would receive an alert asking them to take their temperature before leaving the house. While on their morning commute, they could check lobby wait times, as people would be queued in line waiting to have their temperature scanned by office building operators. Once in the building, occupants could use their mobile devices for access management and check building/floor conditions like percentage occupied and air health level. Chance also spearheaded corporate partnerships with KPMG and Microsoft, as well as Cresa, JLL’s Technology Infrastructure Group and J.P. Morgan Chase. Chance also designed the 10 Steps to Real Carbon Zero, a guide recently featured in Business Insider.

Previously, Chance helped create and grow Bisnow; as one of that company’s first executives, his role was market expansion across the United Sates and redesigning digital revenue for the company. He launched the Bisnow Morning Brief, BisnowTV and Bisnow Creative Labs. He also served as COO of real estate technology and media consulting firm DisruptCRE.

These are just a few reasons we chose Chance as one of Connect CRE’s National 2022 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s sixth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
