Guides a team that offers guidance to companies including Gensler, DGA, Other Works and Ground Level

Helps lead innovation in workplace environments to drive creativity and productivity

She's a third-generation designer

Bianca Doerschlag was promoted to Kilroy’s Vice President of Design in October 2021. As the head of the design team, Doerschlag oversees architecture, interior, and environmental design across Kilroy’s portfolio in California, Washington State and Texas. She guides a team that provides design guidance to consultants, architects, and interior designers that include Gensler, Rockwell, DGA, JCFO, Page, Other Works, Miller Hull, SKB and Ground Level.

Doerschlag’s day-to-day activities include gathering information across Kilroy’s investments, leasing, construction and operations teams to make strategic decisions to benefit both Kilroy and its partners (tenants). She contributes to Kilroy’s approach to lead innovation in workplace environments, which helps drive creativity and productivity for some of the world’s leading technology, entertainment, life science and business services companies.

Before joining Kilroy in 2017 (while pursuing her master’s degree), Doerschlag spent time at BIG in Copenhagen, Denmark where she was involved in a variety of projects including multi-family housing, commercial towers and community projects. She attended the University of California (Berkeley), where she received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture, with focused studies in civil engineering and real estate.

Doerschlag is a third-generation designer. Her grandfather, mother and father are architects and a passion for design is in her blood as she continues to help shape skylines across the West Coast and Texas.

These are just a few reasons we chose Doerschlag as one of Connect CRE’s National 2022 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s sixth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
