Parker Stewart
Spearheaded the company's expansion into multifamily investment sales
Led efforts to a one-year transaction volume of nearly $300 million
Parker Stewart joined Northmarq in 2021 as Managing Director, Investment Sales, spearheading the company’s expansion into multifamily investment sales and bringing long-time colleague Dominic Martinez with him. He focuses on the disposition of multifamily assets in the St. Louis Metro area, and other Midwest secondary and tertiary markets across the Midwest.
His efforts have brought out-of-town apartment investors to underserved secondary markets throughout the Midwest, introducing them to cities like Columbia, MO; Lincoln, NE; Madison, WI; Peoria, IL and Springfield, IL. This generated significant brokerage sales for Northmarq Multifamily, while generating numerous debt opportunities for various Northmarq offices. Parker’s efforts led to a one-year transaction volume of nearly $300 million, comprising 10 properties totaling more than 2,000 units.
Martinez and Northmarq’s Managing Director, Debt & Equity Jeffrey Chaney, say that Stewart demonstrates leadership and shows a strong work ethic. Chaney went on to say that Stewart and his investment sales team “hit the ground running, working late into the evening, and most weekends to get immersed in the St. Louis market,” while at the same time continuing and maintain relationships in other Midwestern markets like Chicago and Omaha.
Stewart received his bachelor’s degree in business administration (Finance and Banking) from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and is a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council.
These are just a few reasons we chose Stewart as one of Chicago/Midwest’s 2022 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s sixth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
