When Ian Wright joined BMO Harris Bank in 2018, he quickly jumped into real estate, becoming an expert. Write has succeeded because of an ability to holistically view a prospective relationship and to get a foot in the door with some of the top commercial real estate developers and investors in the country. It typically takes five to 10 years for new relationship managers to be able to execute at this level; Wright has done so with less than five years of experience.
As a BMO associate, he is an outstanding member of the National Core Commercial Real Estate Team, and one of the key relationship managers. Since 2020, he’s underwritten more than $500 million worth of business. He continues sourcing and bringing in new business at a very high rate, while being a strong mentor to all new members of the team.
Wright is an active member of Urban Land Institute in Chicago.
