Has leased more than 4 million square feet in her career

Transaction volume totaled $125 million in 2021

Started her career as a brokerage assistant, successfully jumping to the brokerage side

As a First Vice President in Colliers’ El Segundo office within the Greater Los Angeles region, Kristen Bowman specializes in creative value-add repositions across multiple asset types. With over 10 years of industry experience, Bowman’s strength is in representing owners and tenants across the Lower Westside and South Bay markets. She has leased more than 4 million square feet, representing institutional and entrepreneurial tenants and landlords. In 2021, Bowman’s transaction volume totaled upwards of $125 million in deal value.

Bowman started out as a brokerage assistant, and many industry professionals told her how rare and challenging it would be to transition from the role of assistant to broker. Two short years later, she successfully made the jump to the brokerage side, proving that having a greater purpose and not placing limitations on personal or professional growth opens many doors to success.

Her educational background includes studies in Real Property Development and City/Urban, Community, and Regional Planning at Cal Poly’s Architecture School. This cultivated her love of architecture and design knowledge, expertise that distinguishes her from others in the CRE space. Bowman is motivated by the opportunity to tell a building’s story through its history and view a building through the lens of its potential.

Her words of wisdom for anyone wishing to advance in the industry are to find a trusted business partner. She believes support, trust, and collaboration in this industry are invaluable, and finding the right person to tackle the day-to-day is critical.

These are just a few reasons we chose Bowman as one of California’s 2022 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s sixth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
